Q: What are the benefits of a quality home inspection?

A:  The purchase of a new home is one of the most costly (and often stressful) investments that a family will make.  A highly trained and experienced inspector will give you peace of mind that you know exactly what you are paying for by familiarizing you with the present condition of the house and inform you of any improvements that may be necessary in the future.

Q: How long does a home inspection take and when will I be able to receive the report?

A:  The actual inspection usually takes anywhere between 2 and 4 hours.  These times will vary depending on the home size, age, and condition.  The average turnover time for the report is 24-48 hours.

Q: Do you inspect roofs and/or crawl spaces (underneath homes/buildings)?

A:  Absolutely.  Most of the unseen issues of a home or builder are either under the structure or on the rooftop such as rotten floor joists from past plumbing issues and faulty roof repairs.  Every inch of a house needs to be looked to provide a thorough report.

Q: Should I be present for the inspection?

A: It is not necessary that you are present for a home inspection.  However, you are certainly welcome to be there for the complete inspection or simply arrive at the end if you would like discuss some of the stand out points of the inspection or ask any questions.
